13.12 at APAX 2025

We’ve just returned from an incredible week at APAX (Australian Performing Arts Exchange) in Garramilla/Darwin, and we’re feeling energised and inspired.

Earlier in the week, we had the opportunity to talk about our new theatre work, Guewel, at the APAX Arts Market. This platform allowed us to introduce Guewel—a multi art-form journey through an ancient African cosmovision—to a diverse audience of artists, presenters, and industry professionals. We shared insights into the creative process, the themes behind the work, and its potential to engage audiences across Australia.

The entire APAX conference was a dynamic and thought-provoking gathering. From roundtable discussions to hands-on workshops, we were immersed in rich conversations about the future of the arts, collaboration, and cultural storytelling. It was a privilege to connect with so many talented individuals and to be part of a national conversation about where the performing arts are heading. A big shout-out to APAX and all the artists and companies who were present— it was inspiring to witness the diversity and creativity of work being developed across the country.

Thank you, Garramilla, for your warmth and welcome. We're leaving with new connections, new ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose. We can't wait to share more of Guewel with you soon
